Guidelines for Abstract Submission (Poster and Paper Presentation)

  1. Originality & Length
     The abstract must describe original, unpublished work and should not exceed 300 words.
  2. Author Information
  • Provide the full title, name(s) of author(s) with their designation, institution name, and contact number of the corresponding author on a separate PDF entitled “Author Information of [full title of the extract]” and submit that separately on the particular field of the web submission form.
  • Do not include these details within the PDF abstract file. Any identifying information found in the PDF will lead to rejection.
  1. Abstract Structure
  • For research papers (non–case reports), the abstract must include the following sections:
    BackgroundObjectiveMethodsResults, and Conclusion.
  • For case reports, include:
    BackgroundCase DetailsIntervention (with rationale)Outcome, and Key Learning Points.
  1. References
  • Provide up to 15 references, listed separately at the end.
  • References must not be included in the 300-word limit.
  1. Formatting
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font size: 12 pt (main text), 10 pt (references)
  • Line spacing: 1.5 for main text, single spacing for references.
  • File format: PDF only.
  1. Submission Policy
  • Each author should register as an attendee of the NIH Alumni Meet 2025.
  • Each registered author is allowed to submit only one abstract.
  • Multiple submissions by the same author will lead to disqualification of all their submissions.
  1. Submission Deadline
     The last date for abstract submission is 15th November, 2025.
    Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  2. Selection Process
     Accepted abstracts will be invited for poster presentation.
    Some may also be considered for oral presentation, as decided by the panel of judges.
  3. Awards & Certificates
     All selected participants will receive a Certificate of Presentation, and outstanding submissions will be felicitated as per merit.
  4. PDF Content Requirement
     The PDF must contain only the title and the abstract text.
    It must not include any author names, designations, institutional details, or contact numbers.

Guidelines for Poster Presentation

  1. Poster Size & Material
  • Size: 5 ft (height) × 3 ft (width)
  • Material: Thick white paper or white flex sheet.
  1. Title & Layout
  • The title should appear in large, bold letters, centered at the top.
  • The abstract text (excluding references) should be placed below the title in a smaller font (Times New Roman, justified alignment).
  1. Content Presentation
  • Use tables, images, flowcharts, or graphs to illustrate data clearly.
  • Choose appropriate color schemes and maintain visual clarity.
  • References (if any) should appear at the end in a smaller font.
  1. Author Identification on Poster
  • At the bottom right corner, include:
    Author name(s)designationinstitution name, and contact number of the corresponding author.
